It's Ok Thursday & Reds Opening Day!

Its Ok Thursdays

It's ok...

To be ready for another vacation even though we just got back from one.

To spread a little weed & feed into the neighbors lawn as you walk by.
Somebody's gotta keep their dandelions in check.

To have more furniture than you know what to do with. We've been collecting since college.
Then start giving some back to your parents.

To be excited that Kentucky won only because your college roommate loves them.
Lauren, I willed them to win just for you. Yea, you're welcome.

To be beyond excited about The Color Run this summer! Look it up, love it.

To watch things on Netflix that you would never have paid to watch in the theatre.

To stalk my friend's FB page & blog until she puts up her pictures from Italy!
Ca'mon, Photoshop faster! (JK El)

To live vicariously through other people's blogs while they hike the Appalachian Trail.
One day I'll join you. Mark my words.

To still be debating whether or not we should buy kayaks.
(Does anyone own one? Is it worth it? I need more feedback)

To have 2,269 songs on my iPod and not be in the mood to listen to a single one of them.
Any new unknown bands out there?

What are you saying "it's ok" to today?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today is opening day for the Reds and I'm super excited about it. I love baseball! I don't care if people think it's boring. Golf is boring, baseball is not. You sit in the sun, eat peanuts & hot dogs and cheer. Unless you're a Reds fan like me, then instead of cheering maybe you mumble profanities when they strike out or lose. But that's not the point.
Yes, Joey Votto just agreed to a 10 year, $225M extension with the Reds. Yes, I think it's a ridiculous amount of money to give any player of any sport, but I would take it too. I still like him, but that could just be because he used to live with one of my college roommate's family when he played for the Dayton Dragons back in 2004. (They're a host family) Here's one of my favorite pictures of him & my roommate's sister, April when he was only 20.
And here he is at 28 & $225M richer. No big deal.
What team/player do you cheer for?
My husband and I are debating the same thing! We would love to own Kayaks, but I get stuck on where the heck we would store them! They sure do take up a lot of space! But while we are in the water it would be worth it! :-)
I have thousands of songs on my ipod but I can never find any I want to listen to. I would be lost without Pandora!
I'm SO excited for baseball! I'm pulling for the Rangers but deep down, I'll always love my Astros (even though they're terrible).
We should just go for it! My cousin just stores hers upside down on a sawhorse next to the garage haha
I like the Rangers too. Josh Hamilton used to play for Cinci. I was so sad when they traded him :( Also, Derek Holland is from my home town :]
I didn't mention it in my post, but I also like watching the Braves because I have family just north of Atlanta.
Ugh, I feel the SAME way about my iPod. I don't know how I could have so many songs and not wanna listen to any of them.
Before the Hunger Games, I honestly can't remember the last movie I saw in the theater... I usually wait until it's on Netflix too!
I'm a Phillies fan! We actually went to see them in Spring Training for the first time this year, and I really want another vacation! At least the games are starting!
